Who is our ideal ambassador?

An Erasmus+ Ambassador is someone who is passionate about the Erasmus+ programme and eager to share this enthusiasm with colleagues, peers, and educational organisations in their region. Ambassadors act as role models and storytellers: they inspire others to take part in Erasmus+, highlight the opportunities the programme offers, and show the impact it can have on both individuals and institutions. They are given opportunities to actively contribute to national and European activities, share their stories with a wide audience, and inspire new beneficiaries to get involved.

Our ideal Ambassador has already gained experience with Erasmus+ projects and is familiar with the programme’s priorities and opportunities, including Training and Cooperation Activities (TCAs). By sharing their own experiences, Ambassadors bring Erasmus+ to life and help others to see what is possible.

What does it mean to be an Ambassador?

Being an Erasmus+ Ambassador means becoming part of a growing network of engaged and inspiring people. Ambassadors promote Erasmus+ through presentations, testimonials, social media posts, and peer-to-peer exchanges. They act as bridges between the National Agency and the field, motivating colleagues and peers to discover Erasmus+ while referring them to Epos-consultants for more in-depth information and tailored guidance. If selected, you will serve as an Epos ambassador for three years (with the possibility of renewal).

Criteria for becoming an Ambassador:

  • An ambassador has coordinated at least one high-quality Erasmus+ project. The project was awarded the Epos quality label.
  • An ambassador has access to at least two different communication channels. (newsletter, social media, website, etc.).
  • An ambassador is eloquent and capable of sharing experiences with peers.
  • Ambassadors are not Erasmus+ project assessors but relatable peers, close to the target audience.
